Meeting about Santa Monica’s Proposal to Triple Documentary Transfer Tax Tonight

property-tax-good-griefThe City of Santa Monica has put an initiative on the November ballot to TRIPLE the DOCUMENTARY TRANSFER TAX to $9.00/$1,000.00, up from the $3.00/$1,000.00 that is currently assessed.

The BH/GLAAR Public Policy Committee conducted a special meeting today at the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of REALTORS® office to learn about the proposal from Andy Agle, Director of Housing & Economic Development for the City of Santa Monica.
