Michael Jackson’s Home for Sale – Santa Monica Real Estate
Less than three years after his untimely death, the property where Michael Jackson died in 2009 has now been listed among many other Los Angeles properties for sale.
The estate at 100 North Carolwood Drive in Holmby Hills has a listing price of $23.9 million. The property, which was completed in 2002 by designer Richard Landry, sits on 1.26 acres of land and has more than 17,000 square feet of space.
In addition to the 13 bathrooms and seven bedrooms, the property also features a private movie theater, wine cellar, elevator, 12 working fireplaces and a spa and gym. A separate guest house is also close to an expansive pool and lush gardens.
The music icon was leasing the property for approximately $100,000 per month at the time of his death. The house will not come with any of Jackson’s belongings, many of which were sold off last December in an auction.
Jackson had been planning a new world tour before his death in June 2009. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, was eventually convicted on manslaughter charges related to his use of anesthesia.
