Mike Judge Moving to Santa Monica – North of Montana Real Estate
Emmy award-winning animator Mike Judge purchased a home in Santa Monica’s affluent North of Montana neighborhood for $4.45 million from Richard Taite, the CEO of a celebrity rehab center. The home was originally listed at $4.895 million.
Judge is best known for creating and voicing the animated series Beavis and Butt-head and King of the Hill, as well as his film Office Space. MTV recently brought back Beavis and Butt-head, giving Judge plenty of money to spend.
The Mediterranean-style home is close to the Santa Monica Pier and sits on nearly a quarter acre of land. Inside, the home has 3,700 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The master suite has access to a second-story balcony.
The two-story house was built in the 1970s but has modern updates including wood-beam ceilings, custom ironwork and mosaic tiles. The home also has a chef’s kitchen, full gym, a spa and a saltwater pool. Additionally, there is a separate guest house that can double as an office.
